Course Overview
Our Guitar program is designed to build strong foundations and progressively develop students into confident, versatile guitarists. Students learn essential chords, scales, rhythm, fretboard knowledge, picking and strumming techniques while developing their ability to play melodies, chords and complete songs. As they progress, the curriculum introduces modes, arpeggios, legato techniques, bends, improvisation, riffs and advanced lead-guitar concepts. The course combines technical development with musical application, allowing students to explore different styles while building confidence, creativity and individual expression.
Acoustic & Electric Guitar
Students can develop their skills on both Acoustic and Electric Guitar, with the curriculum progressively introducing techniques and concepts applicable to different styles and playing approaches.
Course Highlights
- Technique & Fretboard Skills – Develop picking, strumming, finger placement, chord shapes and fretboard awareness through structured exercises.
- Chords, Scales & Harmony – Build a strong understanding of chords, scales, modes, arpeggios and chord progressions.
- Rhythm & Song Playing – Develop timing and rhythmic confidence while learning songs across different styles and playing approaches.
- Lead Guitar & Improvisation – Progress into bends, slides, legato, pentatonic patterns, riffs and improvisational playing.
- Advanced Guitar Skills – Explore tapping, harmonics, string skipping, complex techniques and modal blending as students progress.

Considerations
